About Tbilisi
Tbilisi's Old Town mixes sulfur bathhouses, Soviet-era balconies and a wine culture that predates most of Europe's by thousands of years — Georgian qvevri wine, fermented in buried clay vessels, is the thing to actually seek out here. The food (khachapuri, khinkali) is heavy, cheap and very good. It's one of the least crowded cities on this list relative to how much it offers.
