“you are lucky I'm lucky this is the place here Xing Li cooked food this guy is really so meticulous he starts off by adding a thin layer of butter then cracking in a few eggs the mixture's flipped some sauce is added followed by some spring onion then a handful or two of fat juicy oysters man am I excited for this salty and umami and simple yes and a little bit spicy this is original hmm okay”

“I entered the Roxy Center thinking okay how am I gonna find this laksa place it's not hard because as soon as you enter you start seeing this yellow signage and every yellow sign is the same it's advertising the original Katong Laksa since 1950... first I'm gonna try the broth it's incredible it's nuanced and there's just so many layers to that flavour of the broth that I'm trying to figure out how to explain it”
