Latin Quarter

Latin Quarter

experience

“The Latin quarter has an atmosphere that's both ancient and super y the area is named for the Latin that used to be spoken in its universities so this is paris's academic heart busing with students quaint bookshops and a few trendy cafes as well”

Eiffel Tower

“it's not a Paris trip without the Eiffel Tower standing at over 330 M tall it once held the record as the tallest structure in the world and uh it was almost dismantled after 20 years but thankfully they let it stay make sure you pre-book your ticket online prepare to stand in a few cues and just enjoy the experience of visiting one of the world's most iconic monuments I actually think that the second floor is a more enjoyable experience than the top one the top one is Tiny and with all the other people it feels a wee bit cluster fobic actually also make sure you don't book your ticket too early in the day if it's in the winter time because as you can see it gets quite misty here in Paris”

Seine River

Seine River

“I think it's wonderful and a bit crazy that the banks of the river s is actually a UNESCO world heritage site but I totally get it and then therefore I think a river cruise on the S is an absolute must do when you're visiting Paris there are many different River cruises in Paris and I'll leave a link below so you can get an overview but I'd suggest just going on a 1-hour cruise and perhaps taking the boat from either the Eiffel Tower or notam so that you can use the cruise as a break from all the walking that you will be doing in Paris”

Louvre Museum

Louvre Museum

★ 4.7

experience

“you've surely heard about the Lou but did you know that the art museum actually used to be a royal residence here in the heart of Paris of course that all changed during the French Revolution and since 1793 it's actually been a public museum the museum is home to over 35,000 works of art and I'm sure you've seen the most famous piece of this lady once or twice before There's a secret entrance to the Louver so you don't have to stand in this massive queue what you need to do is pre-book a ticket online look up Carousel Dua on Google Maps and head down there doing so will save you a massive amount of time on your trip to Paris because the main cue to the museum is pretty insane”

Panthéon

Panthéon

“the pantheon is a true symbol of French history and pride it has a little bit of everything a stunning Dome Monumental columns and tons of inspiring stories originally built as a church it became a morum for some of France's greatest Minds so downstairs you'll find the tombs of voler and loads of other notable French historic figures a must see in Paris but make sure you pre-book tickets to avoid the queue”

“right behind the pan there's a way smaller church that I think is probably my favorite Church in all of Paris s Edan Dumont has this fascinating mix of Gothic Renea sance and classical styles that you won't find anywhere else you might also recognize this church from Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris because it's the spot where Owen Wilson's character time travels back to the 1920s”

“the notam Dei is probably one of the most famous goth cathedrals in the world it's located on the small island IL de laity right between two of the best areas in Paris but more on those later in the video construction of the cathedral began in 1163 but it took around 100 years before it was finished and the Gargoyles that you see aren't just for show they're actually designed to direct rainwater away from the walls so there's a little cool fact that you can impress your travel partner with as you probably know the notam Dei was highly damaged by a fire in 29 19 but it's opening in December 2024 again”
