Carrefour Supermarket

Carrefour Supermarket

★ 4.0

shopping

“The one we liked was called Carrefour Supermarket where they sell a wide range of groceries and snacks and as you can see this is stuff that you might find back home or a variation of stuff you might find back home and the pro tip I have for you here is to buy bottled water from Big supermarkets because tap water is not safe to drink here and this is also a great way to get change for paying for taxis or tipping at restaurants because smaller stores they often dislike giving change for large bills and some vendors might even refuse to sell you items if you don't have smaller bills so you can get water and get change at the same time”

“Morocco is famous for its Argan oil and in mares I found a highly rated shop with certified organic Argan Oil I bought some Argan Oil along with Sandalwood essential oil and they're both really fantastic products I like that you can test the products before buying and they had clearly labeled prices on their products which is really nice because I don't have to wonder if I'm getting the you know a good price for it I don't have to haggle and I know exactly what I'm getting and this was just a good spot because I didn't want to end up with you know fake argan oil or you know different things they add to it but this was just straight up Argan Oil I use it it's really good”

“next up we've got Le labo africane so this is located in a strip mall plaza in Gueliz this gem is perfect for trying out West African cuisine so we kicked things off with the chicken yassa it's a zesty marinated chicken that's pan seared and then slow cooked with caramelized onions this process creates a sauce that's just balanced Tangy and slightly sweet”
