In their own words: “Now, connected to the Highline is Chelsea Market, which was originally built in 1890s, part of the National Biscuit Company, which became Nabiscoco. This is where the first Oreo cookies were made in 1912. It's an old building, but it's been renovated a few times and redeveloped in the early 1990s. Now, it's a popular mixeduse market. It's got shopping and they've got food here. Nice place to chill on a hot day or even on a cold day in New York.”
