Book a room with a window for a spacious and comfortable stay in a prime location, perfect for exploring Jing'an's food scene.
In their own words: “For our stay in Jing'an's foodie district, we chose the “Xilun Zhenxuan” hotel across from Exit 8 of the subway station. It has a TripAdvisor rating of 9.1. You just step out of the subway station, cross the street, and you're at the hotel. Plus, it's affordable, and there are plenty of trendy restaurants and bars nearby. The location is great, it's served by Subway Lines 2, 7, and 14, making it very convenient to get here from the airport.”

Visit this scenic Buddhist temple to admire its stunning architecture and observe locals making wishes by throwing coins into the bronze wishing can.
In their own words: “Now here we are at the Jing'an Temple here. This is one of the most scenic temples you'll see anywhere in the world, and it's right here in Shanghai. Typically temples that are located inside of a city are overrated. This one, in my opinion, is not. Yeah, so if you look right behind me, you can see people trying to throw the coins in the actual hole there. It's not every day you see something like this where people are trying to, you know, make a wish and throw it right into a big bronze can like that.”

Explore this historic Buddhist temple, a reproduction of the original, conveniently located within a bustling shopping district.
In their own words: “Arrived at our next destination: Jing'an Temple. There's an entrance fee of 50 RMB... Jing’an is a reproduction: the original temple was burned down in a fire. Jing'an is located in the middle of a shopping district so it's very easy to get to.”
