Taródi Castle

In their own words: “So right behind me you can see Taródi-vár , one of the most unusual sites in Sopron. If you see it, you would think that it is an old castle, but it was built by one single person István Taródi in the 1950s and it took him 20 years to complete it. As you wander through its towers, walls, and passageways, it is really hard to believe that so much of it was but by a single man driven purely by passion.”
