In their own words: “One of the most famous sites in Ubud is the Tagalong Rice Terraces. These beautiful vibrant green steps carved into the hillsides showcase the traditional Balines cooperative irrigation system known as Sububac. Walking through the terraces early in the morning offers a peaceful atmosphere. The morning sun cutting through the palm trees creates a truly magical experience for photography lovers.”

Walk down into the canyon to explore the terraces up close, and enjoy a snack or lunch amidst the vibrant green scenery.
In their own words: “We're up here just north of Ubud at one of the most famous rice terraces here in Bali. And it's also got the Sububac irrigation system. So, it's recognized by UNESCO as a traditional farming method. It's a really nice place to walk around. A bit different than Jatalooa because you actually go down into this canyon where the creek is and you walk around the terraces.”
