In their own words: “Next, let's enjoy a traditional obanzai lunch in a Kyoto townhouse. This is Kyomachiya Izumo Kanoka, also near Kyoto Station. A beautiful obanzai lunch served in a historic Kyoto townhouse. The retro interior still reflects the charm of the Taisho era. A colorful obanzai lunch featuring seasonal Kyoto vegetables. For the main dish, I chose the chicken Kuzu pepper rice bowl. Each dish is carefully prepared and delicately flavored. The rice bowl is also delicious with dash poured over it. A wonderful place to enjoy a classic Kyoto-style lunch.”
