In their own words: “To give you an idea of what the costs are today I was literally just at the jumbo. Eggs can run you anywhere between $3,000 to $5,000 pesos. A one liter carton of milk is between $1,500 pesos and $2,000 pesos. Bread if you're getting local it's about $3 ,000 pesos or imported is about $8,000 pesos. So if you're looking for a budget when it comes to groceries it's always dependent on where you're shopping. Because if you're going to the smaller health food stores obviously it's going to be a lot more expensive than shopping at say jumbo.”

Shop at Jumbo for a wide selection of groceries, including imported goods, but be prepared for higher prices compared to local markets.
In their own words: “Why? Well, I shopped at a higherend chain, Jumbo, and bought lots of imported products. Guilty is charged for the Red Bull habit. Jumbo is basically the Whole Foods equivalent. Super convenient, but honestly, pretty pricey.”
