In their own words: “One of the most iconic of Hong Kong’s Dim Sum restaurants is 六安居. This historical restaurant retains the charm of old Hong Kong, where servers push carts laden with bamboo steamers through bustling dining rooms. The same owners then opened a new eatery called Luk On Kui in early 2024, using the same recipes at a different location. Anyways, Lilian and I went for an authentic yum cha experience at Luk On Kui, located on a sprawling two-storey teahouse in Sheung Wan. The dim sum is still served the traditional way on trolley carts. This lively atmosphere makes dining here a truly unique experience. The dim sum is also incredibly tasty and budget-friendly.”

Embrace the traditional push-cart service for classic dim sum like har gow and siu mai, and be ready to share a table for an authentic communal dining experience.
In their own words: “Lin Heung is one of the most famous and traditional dim sum places in Hong Kong, which can be very different from many other places now.”
