In their own words: “Now we're going to try Manteigaira, which was founded in 2014. They have quite a few locations, but the original one is located in the Chiado district at Rua do Lorero number two. This was one of my favorite because you can see the baking process and they bake the tarts constantly. So when you have them, they are still warm and the place smells so amazing.”

In their own words: “I've come to a place called Mantagaria, which literally means butter shop. And you'll see why in a minute, but it's probably the most famous place to have in the city. ... The pastry is so flaky and so buttery. Serious amounts of butter going in there. Forget about that. like you're on holiday. But the custard, it's the custard which makes it ah so good.”
