In their own words: “I found this place on Google. It’s close to where we had the khao soi yesterday. It’s Halal Street... I really wanted to try pea soup with noodles, but that wasn’t available. Instead we got pea tofu salad... It looks appetising. First taste: it’s kind of bouncy. Firmer than jelly, but pleasingly boingy. The flavours are good: spice, fried garlic, bean sprouts, coriander... Nice flavours. Refreshing as a cold dish in the heat.”
