L'Antica Birreria Peroni

In their own words: “We got seated in "L'Antica Birreria Peroni" and this place is quite busy during the lunchtime. It's quite hectic, full plates of pasta going from the kitchen to the tables. Many people coming in, going out, coming here for lunch. And this is a local place, there are tourists as well, but this is not like those genuine tourist traps that you really have all around this "birreria" and this is why I like this place. You can come here, you can eat good pasta and pay a normal price. Pasta here starts from €8. My cannelloni are pure Italian poetry, so soft almost melting in your mouth, but this ragù inside is so fine, very nice meat, very mild taste of tomato sauce and then this pecorino on top just completes everything. Rome is famous for its cannelloni and this place makes them right. They're so soothing, so easy to eat, so pleasant. And to be honest this is such a huge portion of cannelloni, such a big plate especially for the price of €9.”
