Take a laid-back day trip to Pig Island (Koh Madsum) to swim in clear waters, relax on soft sand, and enjoy feeding the friendly, free-roaming pigs.
In their own words: “If you want a day trip that feels a little bit different, take a short boat ride out to Pig Island, also known as Koh Madsum. It is small, quiet, and exactly what it sounds like, a beach where pigs wander around freely. The water is super clear, the sand is soft, and the atmosphere is relaxed and easy-going. You can spend a couple of hours here swimming, feeding the pigs, and just taking it slow. There are a few beach bars on the island, so food and drinks are available, and some tours even include dinner. Most trips start from around 600 baht, and you can buy food to feed the pigs for around 50 baht, which is honestly half the fun. This is not a high-energy excursion. It is more of a laid-back, light-hearted way to spend the day, and it is definitely something you do not see everywhere.”
